Have been bombarded with a lot of work recently....actually it's not a lot of projects...but more of like few projects that requires a lot of work.
Done with drawing the shophouse in AutoCAD already...which is great.
Now I am left with the Machine project which I am having a lot of problems because I can't ask Thomas Edison for tips.
Thought of some ideas but they were rejected because they have been invented before..
So my group tried doing a device that can amplify sound for the ears....the only thing we could think of was to stick the sound amplifier on a pair of spectacles....I mean we cannot place it on a shoulder mount because it's ridiculous and pointless...I mean if someone were to invent something they will make it as compact as possible...that's why handphones are getting smaller and smaller nowadays...you don't see someone still carrying a big ugly black brick around as their phones anymore....with the exception of beggars.
The idea was rejected because of the glasses.....
So another idea was this playboy bunny ding dong look a like....that was really ridiculous looking... it's a mock up...thus it is so hideous...and cheap looking.
The idea was to have enhance sense of taste...which is hard because the tongue is already quite good...I don't think it can be enhance any further....it might probably go wacko and explode and than you won't be able to taste anything anymore...so the concept isn't exactly enhancing taste..but more of utilizing it to it's fullest potential....
We wanted to make the person blind...thus the playboy bunny ears...to block out sight...and the water bag was to clear the tongue before letting it taste something new.
That wasn't a good idea because the thing that the tongue is going to touch is the walls...and that isn't really clean....if someone outside were to use the device..(for reasons which I cannot think of)...and they have some disease...than if other people were to use the device (again for reasons I cannot fathom)...they will probably lick the same wall and end up getting sick and the whole World will come to an age of disease...and our invention will be the like the beginning of apocalypse..Okay...that's a bit far fetched...but you get it.
Anyway..my group has got a new concept now and we hope that it will work out.
Since this is a Design Studio blog...I doubt I will be talking about my TOD project.

Procrastinating
A lot of work needs to be done lately.
Have to do a total of 50 human figures and take 40 pictures of different postures....an excuse to camwhore for some people.
After which have to print the 40 pictures on 2 A1 boards....which I doubt will come cheap.
Still having trouble taking 40 shots.....guess I am going to have to bribe some people to model for me.

Submision.
Submission was yesterday and from the pictures it really looks chaotic...but there was a system going on...so despite how messy everything looks....it isn't.
Q-ing to submit our works....with the exception of some people because they didn't notice the long queue of 2 people
People walking around and placing their things at their designated places after submission.
Still Q-ing....its even worse than Q-ing for donuts.(no...it's not that bad)

Tiles and Picture
Repainted my tiles just now as the paint was peeling...will let it dry first before stacking them up against each other again.
All the 20 pictures are finally taken and printed.
